I woke up this morning and found the following scene outside the window:

It’s first snow and I think it is on time. First snow rarely lasts, though; it is likely this snow will have melted away by midweek, if not earlier. Permanent (well, one that lasts until spring) snow generally comes a month later. Last year permanent snow came just before Christmas.
