I felt an earthquake
Those of you living in Tokyo or Los Angeles or anywhere else were earthquakes are not uncommon may find it odd that I find this so odd. But I have a good reason: around the Baltic Sea earthquakes of this magnitude apparently happen once in a thousand years; in any case this was the first I've felt in my life.
The center was around Kaliningrad. I could feel the quake in my office, a thousand kilometers away: I felt myself tremble a bit and became worried for my own senses, until I noticed that the window shutters were trembling too. It must have lasted no more than half a minute...
