I will vote NO
Like Scott James Remnant (Keybuk), I will vote against the latest GR proposal on AMD64 and sarge. I see no sufficient reason to use this last-resort mechanism in this case; it can be resolved using standard means. By no means should AMD64 be rammed into sarge without it having been in sid for some time, in any case.
However, unlike Keybuk, I do believe that a GR should have the power to make this kind of a decision.
